HUSS MOUHAMAD IS QUIETLY CREATING
his empire by looking out for opportunities and pouncing on them. He has bought three shops in the last two years.
Commenting on the last 12 months he said: “It was very unpredictable. At one stage nobody was driving. Then before we know it, at the click of a finger, everyone’s on the road driving. Is the industry really busy or are we just short-staffed, so we’re just overloaded with work?
Unlike the larger networks who often open a branch at the behest of an insurer, Huss is all about the opportunity.
“As a repairer, one of our main focuses is insurers and insurance work, but
Is the industry really busy or are we just short-staffed, so we’re just overloaded with work?”
there is also a demand for work elsewhere, including dealerships, fleet companies etc.
“Yes, it all relates back to insurers in some way, but there are many different work providers.”
The next 12 months for Huss is about growth. “As a company, for us to continue to grow in a positive direction, we need to be confident that the current workload is under control, starting with correct num- ber of staff to workload ratios,” he said.
“Our focus is to maintain our relation- ships with customers, insurers and all our supply chain providers that we currently do business with.
“After that, if there is opportunity, I will be going for it.”
