Powerful test bed for chillers
WITH A REFRIGERATION CAPACITY OF UP TO SIX MEGAWATTS, ENGIE REFRIGERATION NOW HAS ONE OF THE MOST POWERFUL TEST BEDS FOR CHILLERS IN ALL OF EUROPE.
IN TOTAL, THE refrigeration specialist from Lin- dau on Lake Constance has now installed four ul- tramodern test beds at its head office for custom- er approvals and internal development processes. The beds feature real-time visualisation of all op- erating data in real time including performance, temperatures, pressures and flow rates.
There are two test beds for water-cooled chill- ers with a refrigeration capacity of up to 1.5 meg- awatts, which can be equipped with an addition- al testing facility for glycol chillers with an outlet temperature of up to -20 degrees Celsius and a refrigeration capacity of up to 180 kilowatts.
Then there is a test bed for air-cooled chill- ers with a refrigeration capacity of up to 1.5 megawatts, and the new test bed for water- cooled chillers with a refrigeration capacity of up to six megawatts. ✺
