amount of supplier stands at Automechan- ika Frankfurt, which takes place from 8 to 12 September, there are also a number of training and learning opportunities.
Future Mobility Workshop 4.0 at Au- tomechanika Frankfurt – organised in cooperation with the Institute for the Automotive Industry (IFA) – showcases the technologies, processes and busi- ness models of the future, offering au- tomotive professionals valuable exper- tise and new ideas for their own work in the future.
The Future Mobility Workshop 4.0 makes it possible to experience and try out tomorrow’s solutions live and in per- son. It is an innovation showcase, train- ing centre and test lab for the technolo- gies, processes and business models of tomorrow, serving as a practical port of call for SMEs in the automotive industry. A total of twelve learning stations invite visitors to try out new technologies and systems and come to grips with the tech- nological transformation within the au- tomotive industry.
There will be twelve learning stations focused on aftersales in the Festhalle.
The focus here is on aftersales, and the following learning stations map-
ping the customer journey will be set up in the Festhalle: identifying techni- cal problems, scheduling appoint- ments, getting to the workshop, alter- native mobility, vehicle acceptance, diagnostics and troubleshooting, order- ing parts, provision of services/repairs, vehicle acceptance, getting to the work- shop, vehicle handover/ invoicing and follow-up activities.
Each station details the impacts of technical trends on this particular step of
the process. Individual stations combine a conceptual and practical approach.
There will also be lectures and panel discussions on the topic within the frame- work of the Automechanika Academy.
Practical workshops have been a regu- lar feature of Automechanika Frankfurt for many years now. Increasing digitali- sation and new technological develop- ments are presenting automotive work- shops with major challenges, and regular training is essential to stay up to date.
