another unit for detailing and storage, which used to be the panel shop. While it was less than ideal to have paint and panel in separate buildings, the site be- came way too busy for the volume of work DSI was attracting. The storage in the detailing unit has been a real asset to production as now only cars that are being worked on are in the workshop. The new unit also has a holding yard.
With the right mix of work this branch can repair 40 cars a week. Work-wise they have a few baskets of eggs. There’s a steady stream from Budget Direct and Suncorp. There are a number of fleet customers and warran- ty work for many of the local dealer- ships. They recently secured a contract to repair stolen and recovered vehicles. Six staff members are sharps certified and it’s been a boon in lockdown as the
