Transmitter for building pressures
THE SERIES AT-605 ATEX/IECEx approved magnehelic differential pressure transmitter provides for both visual monitoring and elec- tronic control of very low differential pressures in hazardous locations.
An easy-to-read dial gauge is complimented by the two-wire, 4-20mA control signal utilizing the time-proven Dwyer Magnehelic gauge mechani- cal design and Series 600 transmitter technology.
The two-wire design simplifies any 4-20mA control loop powered by a 10-35 VDC supply. Flameproof enclosures are available in alumini- um and can include a glass window for viewing process pressure on the gauge face.
It is suitable for a wide range of applications such as monitoring duct, room, or total building pressures as well as filter monitoring.
It is also suitable for local indication of clean room pressures with process signals sent to the control room or hazardous area pressure meas- urement and transmitter output.
Fan company seeks local partners
HUNTER INDUSTRIAL FANS – the industrial division of Hunter Fan Company—launched its international fan line known as DDI in Austral- ia last month.
Hunter Industrial vice president and general manager, Mark D’Agostino, said the DDI is a high volume, low speed (HVLS) industrial fan built for powerful air circulation.
He said the HVLS fan is designed for sim- plicity while providing significant airflow due to its custom-built, direct-drive motor and three aerodynamically efficient blades.
“Hunter Industrial has grown significantly over the last six years, and we’re proud to offer a product that meets the demand for our in- ternational customers
across the globe,”
D’Agostino said.
“The DDI fan will of- fer competitive pricing with unmatched per- formance in the indus- try.” Available in two sizes—including 20- and 24-foot diameter models—the DDI fan is ideal for any facility looking to provide

greater air movement in large spaces, such as warehouses, manufacturing centres, shipping, or dock and door areas.
The company’s international sales director, Borja Chavarri, said there has been increased demand for an international product line that is reliable, easy to install and affordable.
“I look forward to partnering with compa- nies across the world to meet their facilities’ needs,” he said.
The DDI fan features a five-year warranty on the motor and electronic control, and a Limited Lifetime Warranty on all other components. For international sales inquiries, contact Borja Chavarri at bgiralt@hunterfan.com.

Designed for high temperature environments
NVENT ELECTRIC HAS unveiled its newest self-regulating heating cable, the nVent RAY- CHEMHTV.
The new heating cable will be used in critical industrial applications with high exposure or high temperatures.
nVent RAYCHEM HTV meets stringent de- mands for maximum process integrity while pro- tecting people, processes and infrastructure.
The president of nVent’s thermal manage- ment business, Brad Faulconer, said growth in specialty polymers, new lightweight materi- als, biofuels, recycled goods, and innovative chemical processes demand heating cables that can operate at increased temperatures for prolonged periods.
“The HTV cable brings together the most ef- ficient materials and the latest research and de-
velopment to deliver a heating cable that can meet these requirements,” he said.
nVent RAYCHEM HTV surpasses previous heating cables in performance and design life. The heating cable is specifically designed for high temperature environments and retains unparalleled levels of power output.
This not only reduces downtime risk and maintenance costs for decades, it also increas- es plant safety and productivity. Moreover, thanks to HTV’s longer design life, its environ- mental impact is reduced.
To create such a high-performance heating ca- ble, nVent turned to new materials, as well as re- search and development. The company has de- veloped a brand new semi-conductive polymer nanocomposite material that sets a new stand- ard in power output retention and longevity.

nVent RAYCHEM heat tracing cables are al- ready well-known for their superior protec- tion against freezing, and maintaining critical process temperatures in many industrial fa- cilities around the world. Its name is associ- ated with reliability, superior performance and long operational life.
The new nVent RAYCHEM HTV self-regulat- ing heating cable will add a whole new dimen- sion to this reputation. nVent offers industrial plant owners the chance today to lift their pro- cess integrity and operational efficiency for decades to come.
The nVent RAYCHEM HTV heating cable will be available this month.
