  Hitachi gets fresh
THE PANDEMIC HAS elevated indoor air qual- ity to the forefront of buying decisions which is why smart manufacturers are utilising technolo- gy to create environments that are clean and safe.
A prime example is the recent release of Hi- tachi’s P series wall mounted split system which cleans the air as well as the actual unit.
The auto-clean robot has a brush to sweep dust into the dust box to ensure the filter is kept clean at all times.
This is in addition to the Frost Wash technol- ogy which removes dust particles, mould, and bacteria.
Intelligent sensor technology identifies
the number of people in
a room and their loca- tion for maximum comfort.
This is supported by room lay-
out search technology which directs the air to avoid cooling walls and furniture unnecessarily. Energy efficiency is no longer a product feature because it is simply expected.
HITACHI ‘P’ series wall mounted split units are available with a 2.5,3.5 & 5kW nominal cool- ing capacity.

QUEENSLAND-BASED MANUFACTURER, SIGRIST Design, has installed more than 5,000 Fresh Air Supply Units (FASU) at schools and of- fice spaces nationwide.
Sigrist Design has always understood the im- portance of air quality and the benefits it pro- vides for better learning, concentration and overall health which is why the units have been installed at more than 120 educational facilities.
FASUs provide clean filtered air into rooms where CO2 levels are low, and improved oxygen levels are required.
If all the windows and doors are closed, low levels of oxygen and increased carbon dioxide will occur.
The dust management and air filtration com- pany was established 32 years ago.
The Sigrist Design team has experienced de- sign engineers, sheet metal fabricators, welders and site installation crews.
Predominantly dealing in specialist ventila- tion, fans, air filtration and dust collection with a majority of products being manufactured in house, Signist staff design and manufacture for industrial, commercial, building and construc- tion markets.

    Next level innovation
TEMPERZONE HAS TAKEN innovation to the next level with the release of the Econex R32 Inverter package range.
Increased energy efficiency and effective load matching are key design features of the Econex OPA range.
This is a system created to assist organisa- tions in their carbon reduction efforts while still providing exceptionally wide heating and cooling ranges. For example, the OPA 350 will deliver a heating capacity 27 per cent above nominal, and a cooling capacity 30 per cent above nominal.
Advanced Dry Mode and Super Dry Mode can only be achieved by Temperzone Econex units as they utilise optimised Dual Electronic Refrigeration Valve control (IP protected) to achieve exceptional dehumidification perfor- mance across the unit’s full operation range.

fication over a wide range of operating condi- tions and unit duty whilst the indoor fan speed can remain constant.
As standard, all unit’s feature EC plug fans and EC condenser fans, dual electronic expan- sion valves and inverter compressors.
Temperzone’s UC8 intelligent control logic enables the synergistic control of these compo- nents for significantly improved seasonal energy efficiency when compared to fixed speed solu- tions, achieving total cooling seasonal perfor- mance factors as high as 6.414 with the OPA 250.
Temperzone has always made installation easy and cost-effective and with this release the unit’s footprint has been reduced by up to 22 per cent when compared to current R410a models.
The Econex range is available in 25kW, 35kW, 45kW, and 55kW nominal cooling ca- pacities.
