When the doors of PrintEx 2019 open in August, the focus will be firmly on connecting businesses to the products, services and innovations they need to drive growth
and success, say organisers. But the show is equally valued for the information and inspiration it provides... and the August iteration will be no different, with daily breakfast sessions providing fuel for both body and mind..
PrintEx has long been regarded as one of the region’s leading exhibitions of equipment, technology and solutions for the print, graphic communications,
sign and display sectors, with the industry’s biggest names coming together under one roof to showcase their wares.
Just as importantly, however, it’s an opportunity for business owners and key decision makers to step away from their businesses and get a better understanding of the trends which will impact on their future viability and success, and to explore the innovations and solutions they can employ to secure that future.
Forums and workshops are the key and, over the years, have become well-established and popular parts of
the PrintEx program every four years. These sessions, which typically include a mix of keynote addresses and expert panel sessions, provide an important educational dimension to the industry’s leading exhibitions, and PrintEx 19 will be no exception.
This year, each day of the PrintEx program will kick off with a Business @ Breakfast Seminar and Applications Marketplace, which will set the theme for the day and showcase the way today’s innovative technologies can transform sign, display, print and packaging.
“Visitors to PrintEx, PacPrint and other trade expos consistently tell us that they value the opportunity to learn about trends and technologies, gather and explore new ideas, and participate in practical, hands-on learning that they can take back to their businesses,” says Peter Harper, CEO of PrintEx organisers Visual Connections.
“The PrintEx19 Business @ Breakfast Seminars
will introduce the daily show theme and provide information and insights for those interested in specific market sectors or business opportunities.”
Over four days, the Business @ Breakfast Sessions will cover four key areas, which will then be expanded across the day in a number of free ‘breakout’ sessions featuring experts in various aspects of the daily topic, and workshop sessions on the show floor which will provide practical demonstrations, tips and tricks in a range of disciplines.
Day 1 will focus on Retail and Expo marketing, looking not only at the trends in signage, print, displays and merchandising, but considering developments in packaging as well as transformational engagement opportunities offered by new options like image recognition and augmented reality.
