CAPABILITIES: ADIESA is an organisation that provides the vehicle for the free flow of communications between Defence and industry. It is not a lobbying or industrial organisation but aims to assist Defence and Industry by facilitating increased collaboration. A criti- cal element of ADIESA’s strategy is the formation of strong relation- ships with senior Defence officials in all areas of C4I research, de- velopment, procurement and support. ADIESA provides opportunities for member companies to meet with senior Defence personnel at various functions and runs a number of Focus Groups and Working Groups. These Focus Groups include Enterprise Architectures, C4, ISR and allow early industry involvement in the force development process. Membership of ADIESA is open to Australian companies and academic institutions with capabilities in information and elec- tronic systems.
