CAPABILITIES: Silvus MN-MIMO (Mobile Net – Multi In Multi Out) Radios were originally developed for the US Military, and have been chosen as the radio platform for the High Data Rate Line Of Sight (HDRLOS) component of SEA1442 for the ANZAC class Frigates. Silvus radios differ from conventional Mesh Radios by delivering: •Exceptional point-to-point performance equal to or better than
conventional Microwave platforms, typically in less spectral
bandwidth
• Frequency bands from 400 MHz to 6 GHz, including Australian ISM
bands
• High Power amplifier solutions
• A design optimised for mobile deployment in temporary and semi-
permanent installations
• Asymmetrical data rates up to 100 Mbps
• “Switch on and go” operation, requiring little or no management
once configured for field operations. Silvus MESH is a true peer-to- peer, self-forming, self-healing mesh with no master and no configuration requirements after initial setup. Members of the MESH can join and leave freely.
