CAPABILITIES: Jenkins Engineering Defence Systems (JEDS) de- signed and manufactured the Periscope Antenna Unit (including Ra- dome), which is the main intercept antenna for the Collins Class sub- marine. JEDS has also designed and manufactures the Multi-Function Intercept Antenna (MFIA) for Defence customers suitable for ship- board or land applications. The antenna provides communications band intercept (1-3000MHz), Microwave intercept (1-18GHz), L1 & L2 GPS Receive and SATCOM Receive (240-270MHz). JEDS has also developed and characterized rotating DF ELlNT Antennas, Pulse Pro Software to analyze PDW’s in real time and Low-Band, 8 Channel DF arrays (0.5-3GHz). JEDS undertakes the depot level repair of a wide range of EW, Radar, Communication, Digital and RF Stimulators and Simulators and specialized equipment to lowest repairable unit (LRU) and component level. JEDS has a significant investment in spe- cialised test equipment, including a fully automated anechoic test chamber certified from 400MHz - 40GHz.
