You can’t fake passion, Ron has
surrounded himself with a team of craftsman technicians and undertakes
repairs in a manner guaranteed to allay any worry any prestige car owner could ever have. When you love what you do it shows.
 JUDGE POWELL
Ron’s outstanding management and leadership skills both have a positive influence on the efficient operation of
this repair centre. This also gives his global clients the confidence to know that their much-loved vehicles are in very good hands.
TOP TO BOTTOM: Just a smidgeon of Porsche memorabilia; OEM approvals means getting ‘jiggy’ with three different systems. Great kerb appeal.

   JUDGES’ COMMENTS
“Personally, I think I was just lucky,” he says, with characteristic self-effacement. “ I might have a bit of a problem with being a perfectionist. I want things to be right all the time, and people know that.”
Paint and Panel disagrees with his as- sessment. Goodman's success is clearly down to the near-unbelievable measures he goes to please the people who send him their cars. When handing their ve- hicle over, every customer receives a unique html link that allows them, if they want to, to watch the process from go to whoah.
“We send a link to all our customers so they can watch the whole process of their car getting resprayed on their chosen de- vice,” Goodman explains. “And, when they're done, people can sit in these din- er-style booths here, and we can go over every step of the job on an iPad. If there's a particular part of the process they want to see — whatever they want to look at. We're only becoming more transparent.”
This isn't a business strategy, by the way. It's just Goodman: being straight- up and open with people is how he's de- cided to live his life.
Oh and we haven’t even mentioned the car museum that customers can mosey around while they wait or just if they fan- cy popping in. Or racing Ron’s own detail- ing line, but now we’ve run out of space.
