W HILE CONDITIONS HAVEN’T been conducive to expan- sion over the last couple of years WGBW states that go- ing forward the group’s vision is to increase its geographical footprint, diversify services and expand existing complimentary businesses such as me- chanical; windscreen replacement; lo-
gistics; and towing.
Each shop has its own business
model which ranges from prestige, predictive cost models to third party. Because of the differences, each shop runs separately however all systems
internally are the same. Also resourc- es are shared between the shops such as personnel, jobs and rental loan cars. Head office controls operating costs and overheads to ensure synergies are capitalised.
There are a number of apprentices in the group who suffer the same industry recruitment difficulties as everyone else and so they are developing their own talent. WGBW Group is involved via volunteering as well as donating to the Les Twentyman Foundation - an or- ganisation that supports kids aged be- tween five and 25.
Miami Smash is on the WGBW’s prestige sties.
