HACCP CONFERENCE RENAMED
The APAC Food Safety Conference – formerly known as the Australian HACCP Conference – is celebrating 25 years this year.
The theme of this year’s conference for food safety professionals is Culture and Technology: Shaping Tomorrow’s Food Industry.
Food safety culture is paramount to future-proofing any business, says organiser SAI Global.
"Future challenges within the food sector include technology, globalisation and hidden supply chain. In the ever-changing landscape which is the global food supply chain, businesses are likely to encounter increasing risks across multiple channels,” the food safety organisation said. "Join us as we explore these topics and more during this interactive two day event."
The new food safety event will continue to feature globally recognised speakers who are working with leaders of industry on the latest food safety challenges.
The APAC Food Safety Conference will also provide networking opportunities to meet and talk to other food safety and quality assurance professionals.
Hands-on, practical information on key topics will be part of the conference agenda, along with the opportunity to hear from food manufacturers in the field on how they deal with food safety challenges.
The APAC Food Safety Conference will take place on 22-23 August at Central Pier, in Melbourne’s Docklands.
Information on how to purchase tickets, speakers, topics and more will become available soon, according to SAI Global.
