New Series Hammer
With the machines collectively known as Series 2, Hammer’s goal is to offer a new entry- level machine class. Enter the N2-35, the first of this series. The price point is lower but the features are there, including a solid, tilting cast iron machine table that has a 15mm groove to the left of
the blade. Cut height is
235mm via a gear rack and handwheel.
A swing-away rip fence positions either side of the blade and stands high or flat. Other features and options make it worth considering. www.felder-group.com/en-au

Amana in Oz
A select range of Amana Tools premium quality specialty tooling is now available in Australia. In particular the focus is
on CNC machine users, including cutters suiting carbon fibre, plastics, non-ferrous metal,
solid timber, manmade composites, engraving and more. Proprietary coatings like Spektra hardened ceramic top off their attention to detail and premium materials, providing up to 2.5x the edge life of
a regular micro grain tungsten carbide cutter. www.carbatec.com.au
Fixed and Flexible
The AUK fixed base router motor V3 is an industrial-quality router that runs on a 230–240 volt 10 amp domestic power supply. The motor has an outside diameter of 4.2inch (106.7mm) to suit Incra Mast-R-Lift, Jessem and other router lifts. The V3 has new high performance SKF bearings and updated electronics, and allows for precise adjustment of cutter height without cutter length loss below the table. The motor shaft and auto-release collet rise above the table for easy cutter change. A soft start variable speed control is sealed for reliability in router tables or CNC machines and engineered to maintain constant speed under load.
