                  Dog of the Month
Motivation and fetch
We look at our furry friends across the advertising, adtech, marketing and media sector, shedding a light on these stars and how they help adland get results. This month we speak to Hugo, Chief Executive Woof-icer – Carat Adelaide.
Picture This
Time in current role/time at the company: 5 years
How would you describe what the company does?
The humans at Carat deliver an unparalleled capability to unlock real human understanding to connect people and brands by designing powerful and engaging media experiences. But we also share a love of fetch.
What do you do day-to-day?
Mostly motivate my humans to play fetch.
Define your job in one word: Ballsy.
I got into advertising because:
There’s a lot of patting involved.
Who is your right-hand person?
My chief ball thrower is Kim but she needs more practice.
Whose job have you set your sights on in the future? No-one’s. I’m top dog...
Where do you turn for inspiration? The local butcher
My favourite advert is:
I don’t have one favourite, but I do go mad for ads with other dogs.
My best trick is:
Throwing my ball under the sofa so my humans have to get up and play with me. Every. Single. Night.
