Building Automation
No third party solution required.
Sky is the limit for Airzone integration
AIRZONE HAS PRESENTED its full HVAC inte- gration solution which enables control of multi- ple HVAC technologies from one single interface.
Airzone exhibited at ISE 2020 last month and visitors to its booth could take home the latest Aidoo Inverter/VRF Wi-Fi/KNX Controller of Airzone free of charge to experience full HVAC integration firsthand.
The HVAC control solutions company said its solution integrates any HVAC system with the leading building management (BMS) and home automation (HA) systems seamlessly.
What sets apart Airzone is that its HVAC con- trol solutions allow the integration professionals to manage multiple HVAC technologies (split, multi-split, Inverter air conditioner, air to water heat pumps) seamlessly and simultaneously without the need of adding a third-party solution.
In other words, with Airzone products it is possible to control (both combined or indepen-
dently) radiant heating floor, air conditioning and sanitary hot water from one single interface while the products´ self-guided configuration eases the diagnostic process to discard problems beyond the integrator´s liability.
Airzone solutions can coordinate the work- load of different HVAC technologies that are in- tegrated enhancing the energy efficiency and economic savings of the system. This also greatly improves the thermal comfort of end-users.
Thanks to the quick and easy configuration through API REST or API Cloud, integrators can enjoy the simplicity of Airzone solutions. All they need to do is just download the drivers and intro- duce the preferred parameters. No more complex and time-consuming programming necessary.
With over two decades of experience inno- vating HVAC control and zoning solutions, Air- zone bridges the gap between the IoT and HVAC technologies.
This synergy is the backbone of Airzone’s highly developed HVAC integration strategy.
Airzone also showcased its latest product: Aidoo Inverter/VRF Wi-Fi controller. Aidoo is one small simple device to control and inte- grate the AC units into different BMS/HA sys- tems through its Professional API Cloud, Mod- bus or KNX.
Today, the various partnerships with leading air conditioning manufacturers has enabled Air- zone to position itself among the top companies in the global smart market.
Airzone Europe general manager, Adrian Ra- mos, said the company’s collaboration with lead- ing brands is its best reference.
“Our collaboration has led to more than 2 mil- lion thermostats currently connected and over 10,000 Airzone zoning systems installed around the globe providing advanced control solutions in the market,” he said.
Multiple sensors in a single device
DELTA CONTROLS' CUTTING-EDGE O3 Sensor Hub 2.0 – an IoT-enabled sensor featuring temperature/humidity sensing, occupancy de- tection and wireless integration – was on show last month at the AHR Expo 2020.
The O3 Sensor Hub 2.0, which features a compact design, bundles multiple sensors into one device.
Designed to enhance occupant experience, this new solution integrates a variety of sensors – tem- perature, humidity, occupancy and light – to revo- lutionize how buildings respond to tenant needs.
The system acts as an IoT hub to turn on pro- jectors and TVs, dim lighting and adjust air flow at the building and room level, among other
functions. This reduces setup time and improves the rooms' appearance by eliminating multiple sensor installations and locations with a single sensor hub.
Under the theme “Smarter Buildings, Smart- er Cities,” the booth featured a
simulated cityscape and visi-
tors followed a road to
learn how various solu- tions fit into Delta’s smart cities vision.
The general manag-
er of Delta's Building Automation Business Group, Bill Lo, said intel-
ligent cities rely on effortless communication between devices and systems at every level while next generation buildings require smart building control, surveillance, lighting and other related solutions.
