Short-wave IR curing is a staple in many workshops and fast becoming the industry standard in curing technology. IR cures by penetrating through the wet coating and heating the layers under- neath. This is referred to as a ‘bottom-up’ cure which produces a more thorough
cure with more heat being applied. This method offers a quality cure without the fear of skinning and solvent popping.
