KNX system with voice control
ABB HAS LAUNCHED Busch-VoiceControl KNX, a new voice activated KNX control system and the first to be compatible with the big three market leaders in voice control devices – Ama- zon, Google and Apple.
Capable of managing a range of building func- tions including lighting, heating and window blinds, the Busch-VoiceControl KNX can man- age up to 99 functions and is fully configurable via the secure and simple to use MyBuildings portal, powered by ABB Ability, the company’s cloud based portfolio of digital solutions.
ABB's global product manager of Building Au- tomation, Axel Kaiser, said voice control is one of the fastest growing areas in the smart building market and this is the smartest device available.
While many products are only compatible
with either Amazon, Google or Apple, Kaiser said this is the first certified device for KNX that can be used with all three simultaneously.
“Digitalization is a key driver for our busi- ness. Whereas remote access and control of building systems was once viewed as an add- on, the combination of automation and data ex- change is now at the heart of our new product development,” he said. The Busch-VoiceControl KNX acts as a bridge to Amazon Echo, Google Home or Apple’s HomeKit devices. It enables users to control a range of functions, including light switching and dimming, the operation of window blinds and thermostat settings. Infor- mation is available on building status including room temperature, light intensity, humidity, it can detect motion or occupancy as well.
Busch-VoiceControl is compatible with Amazon, Google and Apple.
Ideal for high volumes of outside air
Insulated, high speed doors
THE ATHERION D- CABINET is perfect
for any large building that needs ventilation and/or makeup air because it effectively
and efficiently heats, cools, and dehumidi-
fies high volumes of outside air for superi-
or indoor air quality (IAQ).
