SMALL GUNS FOR SMALL REPAIRS
AS THE AREA TO REPAIR IS MUCH SMALL-
er, we always recommend you use a small gun on smaller jobs as gun control is crucial.
Axalta has been the importer for Euro- pean brand Sagola for over eight years and has seen first-hand how a quality gun can make a difference. For smaller jobs, Axalta recommends two mini guns:
Sagola Mini Xtreme: the mini gun that feels like a full-size premium spray gun (even though it’s not). This gun has been specifically designed to give the painter full control when painting small- medium area; it can be finely tuned to work with the correct fan pattern sizes without running the risk of overloading and wrong paint particle sizes
Sagola 475 Xtech Mini: this gun pro-
vides even further precision and is ideal
for small retouches, feathering, patches
at just over 300 grams with the pot at- tached, this mini gun is perfect for touch ups on “hard to get to” places but still comfortable to hold and control. It can also be converted to an airbrush gun for fine detail work with the addition of two parts – the aircap and needle.
One of the key benefits of Sagola guns is the value factor, not only are the guns priced extremely competitively, but spare parts provide good value too. Often with competitor products, if a needle, nozzle or an air cap gets dam- aged, you will need to replace all three items. With the latest Sagola gun mod- els, you can either purchase a replace- ment needle and nozzle as a set, or pur- chase the individual air cap. The cost savings are significant.
