What does it take to make it
in the collision repair industry?
Meet Samantha Allen, Centre Manager at South City Panels in Geelong, Victoria, part of the AMA Group. Sam started out washing cars at her dad’s collision repair centre in the school holidays. Now, with more than 15 years in the industry, she’s a leader and role model to many. One of three daughters, Sam’s passion and drive were obvious to her dad from early on.
“My Dad gave me a great opportunity and plenty of knowledge over the years. Now that we’re part of the AMA Group, I’ve got the backing of a broader team to support me and that feels even better.”
Her advice to others? It comes down to passion and opportunity. “You’ve got to be ready to apply yourself and have the confidence to say, ‘Yes I can do that’, and the AMA Group can really help.”
