                  Dog of the Month
Millie at Optimising
We look at our
furry friends across the advertising, adtech, marketing and media sector, shedding a light on these stars and how they help adland
get results. This month we speak to Millie via Optimising co-founder Daniel Zuccon.
Job Title: Branch Manager. Define your job in one word:
Essential.
Time in current role/time at the company: 25 years (or 5 human years).
How would you describe what the company does? They do
a mix of SEO and Paid Media campaigns to help clients reach new customers and optimise their online presence. Or as I see it, a lot of typing and not enough playing!
What do you do day-to-day?
My schedule really depends on whether I’m working from home or in the office. The average work day finds me supervising my Dad and Optimising Operations Director, Daniel Zuccon. Otherwise, I
might work on my own projects. Whether it’s digging in the garden or creating a mess inside, you can trust that I’m working hard to be cute yet mischievous.
I got into advertising because:
These dog treats don’t pay for themselves!
Who is your right-hand person?
I’m often glued to Daniel, but I like to regularly check in with the whole team and ensure everyone has a chance to give me a pat.
Whose job have you set your sights on in the future? I’m pretty comfortable where I am. However, I’m always striving to be even more adorable and find new ways to keep everyone smiling in my current role.
Where do you turn for inspiration?
The dog park. Whether it’s in an SEO campaign or chasing the ball, working collaboratively always yields results.
My favourite advert is: It’s gotta be the Menulog Advert with Snoop Dogg.
My best trick is: Always keeping the team’s morale high.
