  A heat pump and chiller combined
 ENGIE REFRIGERATION’S SPECTRUM Wa- ter will be part of the product portfolio as a heat pump as well as a chiller.
Thanks to its broad temperature range from +65 degrees Celsius to -10 degrees Celsius, the new oil-free model is suitable for many different areas and applications.
The redesigned SPECTRUM Water series is available now as a water heat pump for condens- ers leaving water temperatures of up to +65 de- grees Celsius, and then, in the second half of 2022, as a water-cooled chiller for brine applications down to -10 degrees Celsius.
ENGIE Refrigeration CEO, Jochen Hornung, said it is the company’s mission to provide cus- tomers with future proof investments.

“We have achieved our goal once again in exemplary fashion with the SPECTRUM Water; if the compressor is powered with green electricity from renewable energy, the machine can be operated in carbon-neutral fashion.

The SPECTRUM Water series will be available as a heat pump and as a chiller, each version fea- turing twelve basic models, and with a perfor- mance range between 340 and 3,100 kilowatts of rated heating power (as a heat pump), or between 200 and 1,200 kilowatts of rated refrigeration power (as a chiller).
All versions are based on the technology of the QUANTUM Water from ENGIE Refrigera- tion, which is currently the most efficient
water-cooled chiller on the international market. As a result, the SPECTRUM Water features highly condensing, oil-free turbo compressors with magnetic bearing, flooded shell and tube condensers and an open-flash economiser inte- grated as standard. It also contains high-quality technology components made in Germany, such as the intelligent Siemens S7 PLC, and can be op- erated via a 10-inch touch panel or via any mo-
bile end device with the help of smart control. The oil-free machine design makes the system unique in the market for large heat pumps, which
is currently still very heterogeneous.
    All stainless for aggressive mediums
SUPPLIER OF COMPACT brazed plate heat exchangers (BPHEs), SWEP, has expanded its stainless steel range by introducing the B222 large-size model.
All-Stainless is a range of durable, compact and effi- cient BPHEs for the most de- manding applications using aggressive mediums, such as ammonia, deionised water system, or fluids with high sulfur content, all of which can be corrosive to copper.
All-Stainless is designed to suit a wide range of industrial applications requiring high corrosion resistance and con- tamination tolerance as well
as the ability to operate in high temperatures. In late 2021, the B221 was added as the first large-size model to enhance a strong and diversi- fied portfolio of existing small and
medium-sized models.
Introducing the B222 as the latest
large-size addition complements this highly robust and efficient range, now with a total of six All-Stainless products created to serve a variety of situations, according to SWEP seg- ment manager, Frida Cullin.
