The first set of PPG Linq technologies and services involved in the initial roll- out will become available in early 2022 as part of a multi-year delivery. The PPG Moonwalk system, which is the company’s automated paint mixing sys- tem for refinish body shops, is among thte first to be powered by PPG’s digital ecosystem Linq.
Refinish body shop customers will be able to streamline their entire repair process using the cloud-based PPG Linq platform and its interconnected digital hardware and software. The platform will provide customers with the oppor- tunity to improve the sustainability of their day-to-day operations and mini- mise their environmental impact with
features that opti- mise product con- sumption and waste reduction.
In addition, the PPG Linq platform includes end-to-end digital tools de- signed to increase throughput and im- prove profitability by minimising hu- man error and in- creasing efficiency during the entire re- pair process.
PPG created the

cifically to directly
connect repair facilities with key indus- try stakeholders like distributors, man- ufacturers, insurance companies and end users. The platform’s processes and communication tools will enable im-
proved partner relationships with dis- tributors, increased customer intimacy and enhance visibility with aftermarket partners to help inform decision-mak- ing and expand business opportunities.

tion System (RPS) Cups via the revamped Loyalty app, members benefit from using the disposable cup system, but also now get extra rewards for doing so.
Since launching in 2018, customers across the globe have collected ‘coins’ via the Sata Loyalty Program ‘coins & more’. They can then use them to access a great range of rewards from the electronics, sports and leisure, tools and home and garden categories, as well as selected Sata products.
Following a major revamp, the Sata Loyalty app on both Apple and Android offers a variety of improved functionali- ties and services. A navigation bar for direct entries gives easy access to the Sata Loyalty Shop or news and services. The SATA coin account balance is al- ways displayed at the top right, while entry to the account is at the top left.
‘Home’ now returns to the start page from anywhere.
Under the ‘account’ tab, members can manage their profile data,
view orders
and change consents and subscrip- tions. Under ‘services’ there is added content, such as: competitions, surveys and a contact form to directly contact the Sata Loyalty team.
Accessed via the ‘re-
wards’ button in the table bar, the Sata Loyalty Shop includes a filter to show the different store categories: home & gar- den; electronics; tools; vouchers; sports & leisure and other Sata products. A handy red status bar shows if you have enough Sata coins to order each reward.
Look out for the special promotional periods to earn extra coins. As the ‘coins’ total builds they can be con- verted into rewards.
