Golden Bear named as master toy partner for Bing

Disney is celebrating iconic pop- culture character, Mickey Mouse’s 90th anniversary this year.
To celebrate, an art exhibition titled
Mickey: The True Original Exhibition
launched in New York. The exhibition is curated by designer, Darren Romanelli and features original artworks from Kenny Scharf, Amanda Ross-Ho and Shinique Smith.
The exhibit began in November and will run until 10 February 2019.
BRITISH toy company, Golden Bear, was names as the master toy licensee for Acamar Films’ preschool show, Bing, in October.
The business now holds the master toy rights for the brand in Australia, the UK, Ireland and EMEA.
The Bing product range will feature the characters Bing, Flop and friends and will include; plush renditions in basic, talking, feature, night-time and jumbo; figurines and playsets; role-play items; bath toys; and, wooden puzzles.
Golden Bear managing director, Barry Hughes, said that the business looks forward to bringing its experience in the preschool toy space to Bing.
“We are extremely excited about bringing our preschool expertise and passion for toys and applying it to the wonderful property, Bing.
“We have watched with great admiration as Bing has established himself in the hearts of preschoolers over the last few years.
“We are truly delighted that Golden Bear can now be considered ‘A Bing Thing!’”
