Secure Search and Information Exchange (S2IX) was born from the idea that complex collaboration challenges could be simplified and focused on warfighting data needs. Together, with the industry experience
and expertise of our partners, we continue to evolve our capability to solve the fundamental warfighting data management problems. We ensure accessibility with enhanced data security across all domains and partners - from the tactical edge to strategic centres.
Our successes within the Royal Australian Navy (RAN) prove what a data technology like S2IX can do for enhancing the interoperability of C5ISREW in modern- day forces. Enabled by S2IX, RAN task groups can campaign with confidence knowing their data is always securely
at their fingertips. Data management
in maritime environments has never
been easier, even in the toughest denied, degraded, intermittent and low bandwidth environments where threats are dynamic and ever-changing. S2IX-enabled ships can make real-time data-driven decisions, collaborating across the fleet based
on evolving or emerging threats. Data access is managed seamlessly while all data recording is performed in line with national and domain-sensitive compliance schedules. With S2IX, forces can collaborate across maritime and enterprise networks, but we haven’t stopped there.

As the Australian presence at NATO’s Coalition Warrior Interoperability Exploration, Experimentation and Examination Exercise (CWIX) this year in Poland, the S2IX team were given the opportunity to flex the capability
in a military exercise. Using Microsoft deployable cloud technologies, we were successful in rapidly creating a secure multi-national partner environment
with controls that were compliant with national, FVEYS and NATO data security requirements. This verified that S2IX- enabled collaboration between nations was not only possible but ready for operational deployment, now.
In terms of securely integrating multiple nations and NATO core services “We have proved that the implemented [S2IX] solution fulfilled all defined success criteria” - NLD MOD
For the two participating NATO nations, we showed that an accelerated ICT deployment was possible, with a fully built environment established in under five hours and stood up for a specific operational activity in under five minutes. S2IX’s zero-trust security engine was showcased
in a Secret NATO enclave with multiple streams of data from multiple sources captured, analysed and exchanged between the two nations.
Our team is looking forward to returning to CWIX in 2023 for further integration trials and to test S2IX in other operational environments. We relish our ongoing
opportunities to deliver further proof of value for other countries across Europe and North America to help drive information superiority to all partner nations.
S2IX has proven that it is ready now
to deliver a military-grade Data Fabric with multi-level security in multi-domain operations (MDO). We have seen our solutions and global allied interest increase due to S2IX’s ability to operate as a
data, security and authority broker in all domain scenarios. Our recent successes have proven that S2IX has the capacity
to operate across coalition, all-domain environments in cross-functional forces operating in data networks once perceived to be impossible. Regardless of data complexity, S2IX is helping to make the Joint All Domain Command and Control (JADC2) concept a reality.
