ABOUT HYTEX
Hytex Inc. is a leading supplier of decorative textiles to both the commercial interiors and industrial segments. Our products are designed and colored to meet constantly changing market needs in the hospitality, corporate, retail, industrial and healthcare markets.
Today consumers think responsibly and buy products made from recycled materials. Many of our textiles use post-consumer BPA-free recycled plastic drinking bottles in their fabrication. Hytex “green” manufacturing lowers air emissions and saves millions of barrels of oil from being used which, in turn, reduces the harmful effects of acid rain, global warming and smog.
We are extremely proud of our professional distribution network, each of whom has demonstrated their ability to work with product users such as architects, interior designers, facility managers, and contractors in their respective regions.

OUR STORY
Hytex Inc. was founded in 1959 as a multi-faceted supplier of technical fabrics
to various industrial markets with diverse applications. Over the years, we have dramatically expanded our products and distributor network while continuing to enjoy an excellent reputation for exceptional quality and outstanding service. Hytex was acquired in 2019 by York Wallcoverings, America’s oldest and largest wallcovering manufacturer, founded in 1895 in York, Pennsylvania, where it still creates residential and commercial wallcoverings and peel-and-stick wall décor today that are available through retailers and interior design showrooms worldwide.
