Jane Dixon is a self-taught artist, originally exhibiting watercolor paintings through galleries. Jane’s artwork is influenced by the natural world, found textures and patterns, and everyday life. These original designs can be seen on textiles, home décor, apparel, paper goods etc. and can be found on her website.
When discussing the collection Jane stated the designs, “came from a feeling, nature, the city, shadows on sidewalks, a park with trees and how they are moving, etc. Whatever kind of inspiration is behind the designs, I love to express the essence of it. By pairing it down and keeping it loose, I get to easily convey the inspiration.
I love being able to create new designs every day. I never know if they will end up on stationary, scarves, and now, wallpaper! Being able to have a peel and stick wallpaper line allows my creativity and style brighten up someone’s home.”
