3-­‐	In 1958, Reims wins the French Cup against Nîmes (3-1). 

I had to replace Colonna in goal as he had to leave the pitch due to an 

injury. It is not my usual place.	_____________________________

4-­‐	My nickname is « the goat » because I have long legs, but then I was 

called « the rake » for my fighting spirit.

5-­‐	He is Kopa’s best teammate. Like him, I will leave the club but come back

in 1959. __________________________



7-­‐	I play in defence and also in midfield for Reims and am world champion 

with the French military team (1957). ______________________



8-­‐	I train in my village called Mohon during the week and join my team of 

Stade de Reims to play the matches during weekends.

Madrid and I score a header, which allows my team to take the lead 3-2.
