MECHANICAL (EnHM wing/SC Division)

1 GENERAL PERFORMANCE:
1.1 Overview of the department:

Sr.DEnHM/SC

EnHM wing of SC division is headed by Sr.DEnHM/SC (JAG officer
from Mechanical Branch and AEnHM/SC (Junior Scale officer

from Commercial Branch at present vacant) with 2-Inspectors, 4-
Ministerial Staff and 1-Steno.

EnHM wing is looking after the Station Cleaning activities, OBHS
and CTS activities. EnHM wing is monitoring the compliance of

Swachh Bharat activities, NGT compliance, compliance of
CPCB/SPCB consent over stations, CSR activities etc.

1.2 Mechanized Cleaning and Housekeeping of Railway Stations:

Mechanized Cleaning and Housekeeping of HYB (NSG-2), KZJ,
WL, KMT (NSG-3), RDM, MCI, BDCR, VKB, PRLI (NSG-4), BPA & DKJ

(NSG-5) stations are being done by EnHM wing through
outsourcing.

1.3 On Board Housekeeping Services under EnHM wing/SC:

The On-Board Housekeeping Service (OBHS) activity is provided
for 18 trains i.e. 11 from Secunderabad Coaching Depot and 07
from Hyderabad Coaching Depot through outsourcing.

1.4 Clean Train Station (CTS) activity at Secunderabad Railway
Station:

Mechanized cleaning & allied services are under taken in
coaches of en-route pass through trains having 10 to 20 minutes

of schedule halt at Secunderabad station. CTS activity was
outsourced for 39 trains (Daily/Non daily) and about 339 Nos of
coaches (approx.) are being attended under CTS scheme.
