Environmental Strategy
Kilcawley Construction works hand in hand with our clients to ensure best practice in reducing waste and managing use of water and raw materials on all our projects, striving to protect the environments we work in. We are accredited to ISO 14001. We adopt a site specific plan for each project.
Implementation
•Specific targets set and reviewed monthly.
•Regular auditing of targets by internal and external consultants. •Control of noise and dust emissions.
•Spillage and containment control measures, implemented on all sites. •Reduce-Reuse-Recycle policy.
•Track record of work in extreme environmentally sensitive areas
e.g Ceide Fields, Wind farms, Corrib Gas Project.
We aim to attain the health, safety & environmental performance that sets the standard across the industries in which we operate.
In July this year Kilcawley Construction underwent re-certification for ISO 14001 Environmental Management System, and successfully maintained registration. Kilcawley Construction have maintained accreditation since September 2009.
Kilcawley Construction have achieved LEED/BREEAM accreditation on a number of projects. Most recently Kilcawleys were awarded LEED Silver award for IDA Athlone.
