About Us
In 1901, Manuel T. Oliveira founded the Oliveira Funeral Homes, Inc. in a home on Grant Street in Fall River before moving to the current main location on Columbia Street. The late State Representative, Francis B. and his late wife, Helen L. Oliveira, continued the family business, expanding it to a second location on South Main Street. The late Marilyn Oliveira Harrington carried on the business after the passing of her mother, Helen. Marilyn’s son, the late Robert S. Ferreira, the fourth generation, brought his years of knowledge and experience into the business and carried on operations until his passing. Fifth generation owner and director, Jonathon R. Ferreira, and the Ferreira family continue to offer the same personalized, caring, dedicated service that has distinguished the Oliveira Family Funeral Homes & Cremation Service from all others.
