Our History
Weigand Brothers Funeral Home was established over 100 years ago. The business was started by three brothers, William, Edward and John Weigand. Brooklyn Natives, the brothers first started their profession in their growing Brooklyn neighborhood.
As time moved on, the Weigand Brothers uprooted their dedicated work in Brooklyn and moved their services to Baldwin, NY. By 1949, the Brothers had decided to expand their Funeral services to a quaint town called Williston Park, a place we’ve called home for the past seventy years.
We are incredibly honored to serve this community and our surrounding communities. Over this long period of time we have continually worked to perfect our Funeral practices. At Weigand Brothers Funeral Home, we separate ourselves by providing funerals with traditions maintained and specific standards upheld for over 100 years. We serve families from all walks of life, in all aspects of funeral service - from traditional to simple. There is no right or wrong way to have a Funeral, with your direction, we will facilitate whatever you and your family’s wishes may be.
