in in in in mortuary science from SUNY Farmingdale Upon his his retirement in in in the the summer of 2016 he he he still works on on on a a a a a a part- time basis and and is is responsible for the the firm’s embalming and and preparation work Bob serves the the community as
an an active member of the the Islip Islip Fire Department He lives in Islip Islip with his family and and and is is fis an an an an an avid fisherman and and and boater and and enjoys traveling Lois M Overton Funeral Director

Lois was was the wife of Wayne and was was a a a a a a licensed funeral director from 1986 - 2008 She
was a a a a a a a a former nurse and physical education teacher prior to her her beginning a a a a a a a a a a a a funeral service career Lois has a a a a a a a a a a Bachelor’s Degree in in physical education education from from Hofstra University a a a a a a a a a a Master’s Degree in in in special education education from from CW Post College
and an an AAS in in in mortuary science from SUNY Farmingdale Lois was a a a a a a a a a longtime trustee of of the the Islip Public Library and was a a a a a a a a a a member of of the the the Bay Shore Lions Club Lois passed away in June 2023 at the the age of 82 A Wayne Overton President

an an an MS and EdD in in Education He is is also a a a a a a a a a a a graduate of of American Academy McAllister Institute of of of Funeral Service Wayne is is an an ex-chief of of the the Islip Fire Fire Department a a a a a a a a volunteer at at the the the Fire Fire Island Lighthouse past commander of of the the the Great South Bay Power Squadron and and is is is an an an active member of of of the the United Methodist Church of of of of Islip Islip He is is is also a a a a a a past president of of of of the the Islip Islip Chamber of of of of Commerce first chairman of of of of the the the Hospice of of of the the the South Shore as
