Nervous System - Week 5: June 30 - July 3
Our young thinkers are setting off on an electrifying adventure to discover the incredible nervous system! With a bolt of curiosity, they’ll learn how their brains send exciting messages to every part of their bodies, and nerves help them react quickly. They’ll imagine their bodies as a super-fast race track, where signals zoom around, making every experience exhilarating!
Dermatology - Week 6 : July 7 - July 11
Sun-lovers are setting off on a vibrant adventure to explore dermatology, the fascinating study of our largest organ, our incredible skin! They’ll discover how skin protects their bodies and keeps them comfortable. They’ll learn all the ways to care for their skin, like using sunscreen and gentle soaps. This delightful journey will help them cherish their beautiful skin and learn how to keep it happy and healthy.
Immunology - Week 7 : July 14 - July 18
Our young immunologists will dive into the fantastic journey of immunology, the special force that keeps their bodies healthy! They will learn how their immune system fights of tiny invaders, keeping them safe and strong. This fun-filled adventure will help them learn how to take care of their bodies and have them ready to battle those pesky germs!
Amazing Senses - Week 8 : July 21 - July 25
We are in for a sensational adventure as we explore our five senses! Students discover how their eyes help them see the colorful world around them, while their ears let them hear joyful sounds. With curious little fingers, they’ll learn how to touch and feel different textures, while their noses sniff out delightful scents. Finally, their taste buds will take them on a yummy journey to savor flavors!
First Aid - Week 9 : July 28 - Aug 1
Our little first responders are on an exciting journey to learn about first aid!
They’ll discover how to help with bumps and bruises, cuts and scrapes, and breaks and sprains. With fun activities, they’ll learn all the essentials. Most importantly, they will learn how to call for help in case of emergency! This playful adventure empowers them with important skills to keep our friends and family safe.
Amazing Visitors & Field Trips
Alden will invite in-house visitors, doctors, and dentists to share with the children the wonders of their professions. Elementary students and Kindergarten graduates will go on a host of
fun and educational, off-campus field trips!
