From the Heads of School
Dear Families,
As we reflect on another remarkable year at Alden Montessori School, we are filled with deep gratitude for the trust you have placed in our school and for the incredible journey we have shared with your children.
This past year has been one of joyful growth, discovery, and meaningful connection. In true Montessori fashion, our students have followed their natural curiosity, engaged in hands-on learning, and developed not only academic skills but also confidence, independence, and a genuine love of learning. From the youngest toddlers exploring sensorial materials to our oldest students learning incredible things and preparing for the next chapter in their education, we have witnessed extraordi- nary progress across every level.
Our dedicated guides and staff have worked tirelessly to create prepared environments where each child can thrive at their own pace. We have seen beautiful examples of grace and courtesy, collaborative problem-solving, and the development of strong executive functioning skills. Our students have planted gardens, conducted scientific experiments, mastered mathematical concepts with concrete materials, and immersed themselves in rich literature and cultural studies—all while building the character and resilience that will serve them for a lifetime.
We are especially proud of the strong sense of community that continues to define Alden Montessori. Parent involvement, whether through classroom volunteering, attending parent education events, or enjoying chaperoning field trips, has enriched every aspect of school life. Your partnership remains one of our greatest strengths.
Looking ahead, we remain committed to the core principles of Montessori education: respect for the child, freedom within limits, and the belief that every child carries within them the potential for greatness. We will continue to nurture curious minds, compassionate hearts, and capable hands as we prepare our students to become thoughtful, engaged citizens of the world.
