Help Keep our Children Healthy Children are very hard to read and it may be for one of many reasons; teething, moody, or just sleepy. If, however, you feel your child may be falling ill, please be sensitive to the childʼs need to stay home and rest. We understand that parents have responsibilities to their work. Keeping children home stops the spread of illnesses and benefits everyone. Parents miss less work in the long run.
Please keep your child home if an illness or allergies prevents him/her from participating comfortably in school activities including outdoor play. Due to licensing regulations, a child must be ready to participate in all activities and may not be held inside during outdoor play. Children should also stay home if they have one of the following, unless medical evaluation of a health-care professional indicates that the child may be included in school activities.
 Behavior changes or symptoms of oncoming illness  Oral temperature above 100 degrees
 Diarrhea
 Vomiting
 Rash or mouth sores
 Any other communicable disease.
Your child may return to school when symptom free for more than 24 hours (at least one school day) without medication.
