Maria Montessori
We want to give a big thank you to Maria Montessori for her inspiration and amazing contribution to education. For more than a century, the Montessori approach has been preparing children across the globe for life. All areas of the child’s development are nurtured and grown – cognitive, emotional, social, and physical. When you enter the prepared environment (the classroom), you immediately see the specially designed learning materials, children deeply engaged in their work and their learning, and children showing grace and courtesy to their environment and to other children.
Our Amazing Teachers
One of the biggest concerns we hear from tours is the chronic turnover and lack of trained teachers in their current school or daycare. At Alden, we are proud to say that our teachers are very long standing. Although life sometimes has other plans, it is extremely rare that we have a teacher that must leave us. Our staff is truly dedicated to the Montessori philosophy and your child’s emotional and intellectual well being.
Our Supportive Parents
Parents at Alden are some of the best! As we strive to continually educate ourselves to be better teachers and administrators, Alden parents, too, are eager for continued growth as parents. Learning never ends, no matter how old we are! The teachers are so appreciative as Alden parents embrace Montessori at home, support school procedures, volunteer in many ways, and offer assistance for anything we need. Thank You!
