Apply for September 2016 Admission!
The first step in everyone’s journey to Neuchâtel is submitting an application! New applications for September 2016 will now be reviewed on a rolling basis until remaining spaces are filled with successful candidates. We are able to invite new applications at this time, but please do not delay.
Applicants should be encouraged by the fact that in making its assessment, the Admissions Committee reviews all aspects of a candidate’s application. Successful applicants are those who are university-bound, have extra-curricular interests, and, through the various components of their application, demonstrate good character, curiosity, potential as well as a passion to embrace this extraordinary experience.
Forms and instructions can be downloaded at www.njc.ch. Questions? Contact Brenda Neil, Director of Admission in the Canadian office at admissions@neuchatel.org or 1.800.263.2923, extension 222.
Early Admission Option: September 2017
Candidates who have researched NJC well in advance—the children or grandchildren of NJC alumni for example—may choose to submit their application for admission in advance of the traditional application period. Applicants vying for this early admission status may apply between January and June of the Grade 10 academic year (or Grade 11 for gap year applicants). Successful candidates benefit from the knowledge that they have secured a place at the College and may plan their academic path accordingly without any financial commitment to NJC.
Bridging The Gap
Thanks to the generosity of proud NJC alumni and supportive friends of the College, every year, tuition and travel bursaries are awarded to successful bursary applicants in amounts ranging from $5,000 to $25,000 to help offset some of the costs associated with tuition, travel or both. We encourage bursary applications from students who are motivated to attend NJC, but who require some level of funding to help bridge the gap. For bursary award application instructions, please contact the Director of Admission, Brenda Neil ‘90 at admissions@neuchatel.org.
Research NJC
Alumni researching NJC from the parent or grandparent perspective will recognize that the program remains true to its original core pillars resulting in confident, independent, globally-aware young leaders. You will also find that the school’s academic, travel, guidance and university placement programs have advanced dramatically over the past 25 years. Be sure to include a tour of our website and social platforms as part of your research. We post regularly on Facebook and Instagram, and there are some great videos on our YouTube channel.
