After a quarter century of remembering Neuchâtel, we travelled back for a reunion to find that we have forgotten so many of the fine details, yet we soon realized that the details are superfluous. Despite having spent 25 years of our own separate realities of life, we all came together again at NJC, and it was as if nothing had changed: the banter, the jokes, the personality quirks, the fun, the discussions, the strong bonds. Some details, yes, but it is the people we never forget, and that is what was so worth coming back to experience again after all of this time.

On our last night in Neuch, the current Head of School, who resides in the upper apartment of the Foyer Building, graciously
gave us permission to reminisce in the best way possible. He allowed us to have an all night Ping Pong and euchre
tournament in the Foyer! It was a fantastic idea for our last night together, and I don’t think I have ever laughed so hard (or have ever
become so dizzy) playing Ping Pong in my life! Sorry for the noise Mr. Boyer...

The Class of 87/88 didn’t want to return to NJC without showing its appreciation for an incredible year, so a plan was hatched to raise funds for a gift that was loaded with significance and great memories for the class.
Mr. Boyer had shared that the ping pong table in the basement of the Foyer was literally on its last legs, so classmates of 87/88 decided to purchase a new one! Thank you to those who contributed and to those who broke it in that night!
