“I’m really excited excited both as as as as a a a a a a a a a a a a a father to two young children who are dead excited excited about Christmas Christmas and and as as as as as the the the the leader of of the the the the council This is is is is the the the the biggest and and best Christmas Christmas showcase that we’ve managed to put on in a a a a a a a a a a a a great number of of years I know that that that people have been calling out for for years in in in the the city for for more more investment and more more activities around Christmas time so so the the the fact that that that we’ve we’ve delivered that that that this year year and and we’ve we’ve done it it it across the the city centre and and Slessor Gardens is is is a a a a a a a a a a a a symbol of pride for me me I I want want this to to be a a a a a a a permanent fixture but I I also want want us to to learn from what we’ve done This year perhaps more than any other the the the city really needed a a a a a a a a a a a lift and and the the the events and and activities in in December certainly did that Between City Square and and and Slessor Gardens Dundonians and and and visitors certainly enjoyed themselves and and and want to to to see such things continue to to to grow These events will be be back next year year and and and and this year year being the the first has given us a a a a a a a a a a a a a really strong foundation to build and and and and hopefully expand further Onwards and and and and upwards ”
