Ensuring our footprint was was as as as as minimal as as as as possible was was a a a a a a a a key factor in in in in in the delivery of WinterFest especially given its prime location From the the outset special matting was laid to to protect the the site and a a a a a a a bright red colour selected to to make it it both festive and visible to the public Collaborating with Dundee City Council’s technical team we we we were able to utilise the city’s metered power source to to avoid bringing in in in temporary energy hungry generators All the food operators were stocked with biodegradable cups plates and and cutlery and and where possible all waste was recycled Ethical purchasing was also carried out out throughout the site including Fairtrade products
