FROM THE HEAD DIRECTOR
In creating Theatre, my hope is to create an opportunity for members of the audience to walk away either feeling like they are not alone within their hardships, or feeling grateful that their life is not as bad as the one portrayed, because both are equally comforting.
In the story you are about to experience, the characters displayed are beautifully human in their flaws, and I love that about this play. I hope that you are able to walk away tonight holding your loved ones a little closer before the dreaded phone call in the middle of the night rings.
I hope that this show takes the trouble from your eyes, as it has done for me. I am thankful for the cast, crew, and faculty of San Jac for providing me the opportunity to lead this process and to bring this show to life.
A special thank you to Frank Vela, Stephanie Garza, and Vana Salois for their tireless efforts to make this show go on in such a unique and challenging time in Theatre history.
