WARMERS FEAST

Apollonian Hotel
Drivers sloshed their way to the
Apollonian on a really horrid rain-
soaked day. But inside, beside the
open fire all was welcoming + of
course, most members were
wrapped up well, not only to keep
out the weather but to jostle for the
prize of best beanie and scarf.
With a choice of Roast Pork or
Beef with all the trimmings Lou
and her amazing staff did us
proud – as always!
Surprisingly there was still some
room for steamed pud + custard
or Rhubarb & Strawberry crumble
with ice cream… yummy indeed.
The well-knitted beanies were
delightful and creative… including
John Mac who as always went
one step OTT and caused
comments and laughs.
However, it was Adrian and Liz
Brooks who Lou voted THE BEST
in house, and they took home the
prizes.
Note : This event replaced
Christmas In July this year.
