Page 8 - Beep Beep August 2022

The 10th of July dawned cold and wintry but this did not deter 64 staunch members from driving up the hill to enjoy Christmas in July at the beautiful Flaxton Gardens.
On a clear sunny day, the view would be spectacular, however the ambience of the venue and the warmth of the staff made up for this loss.
Many members enjoyed several pre-lunch drinks and when Will Johns greeted everyone at 12.30 we were all ready for our food. We had pre-chosen either Roast Turkey or Roast Pork and these were delivered promptly. Between courses we had 3 lucky door prize draws: congratulations to those winners! Desserts were either Pavlova or Lemon Curd Tart – both of these choices were delicious.
Thanks to Will for his great work as MC for the day and thanks also to Judy Bickley for organising the event.
A good time had by all !!

13 ladies met at Noosa Springs ‘Relish’ restaurant on a bright cool morning to enjoy coffee and cake.
As is usual with our gatherings there was much chat and laughter.
If you haven’t been to one of these coffee mornings consider joining us at the next one in August as they are always very enjoyable. We even let a few of the husbands join us so long as they are sitting separately!
