Maleny Motorcycle Swap Meet
I took an early start with my neighbour, Bob Goldsmith, to reach the Maleny Swap Meet at the opening time of 6am.
Driving up the range the weather turned misty which was not a good start! When we arrived the showers started and it deteriorated from there. Unfortunately we weren’t umbrella prepared for wet weather so one considerate stall-holder hired a DrizaBone to Bob and I had a rain coat of sorts.
Lucky there were plenty of Marquees to seek shelter.
We came away with a few hard-to-get parts for our respective projects and got to see some of the Historic Club’s member’s bikes on display inside the pavilion – these were fantastic to see.
A couple of other RCC motorcycle tragics were there also – Will Johns and Darcy Tredia.
