DRIVE TO IMBIL
SUNDAY 10th MARCH
Despite the weather which turned showery during the drive it was a very pleasant event with around 50 members and guests enjoying a happy day out.
Fraught with problems from the get- go thanks go to our competent Social Secretary Michel Rety for re- organising the day twice over. Originally a planned lunch time get together with the Gympie Car Club was abandoned due to unforeseen circumstances Gympie Club end.
Then the Hell Town Hot Rods found they had double-booked !!!
The planned morning tea was re- organised and moved to Traviston Services a couple of days before the event.
In the mean time, the café/ restaurant at Imbil had changed hands but the new chef pulled out all the stops to provide some very enjoyable menu choices at short notice.
He was so helpful we promised to go back another time !!
