On Friday 17th June, PTSD Dogs Australia celebrated their 4th Birthday with a fundraiser ‘High Tea For The Hounds’ at the Noosa Golf Club.
The event was attended by Club members, Graeme and Bernadette Block, Larry and Judy Watson and Graeme and Gail Adams who had a great morning and were very impressed with the way the event was run. Drinks and lovely food/ goodies were consumed whilst listening to the inspiring talks given by CEO Angie Weeks and Laurie Cattanach a young Veteran giving an insight into how his life has changed since being partnered with his assistant dog ‘Buddy’.
As a fund-raising event all tables were full of locals, sponsors and supporting dignitaries – there were lucky door prizes and raffle tickets sold with very impressive, donated prizes.
We are very lucky to have such an organisation in our district, which is professionally run by volunteers and giving back to the community.
