AGM REPORT
Sunday 19th October
A well attended AGM with 50
members settling down after
coffee on arrival.
President Ken McGregor
welcomed everyone before
presenting his report for the year.
This was followed by Treasurer
Tony Slattery introducing the
financial overview for 2024/5 after
which questions were invited but
generally everyone was content
that the Club funds were in safe
hands with the Committee for
another year.
As outgoing President, Ken
presented 2 awards with special
mention for hard work and
dedication to the Club – John
McGovern and Myra Doyle
stepped up to receive a trophy,
Myra also receiving a bouquet
and John a bucket of goodies.
The ‘old’ committee relinquished
their seats and Paul Gray took the
Chair for election of the 4 new
Officers. All positions had been
nominated correctly according to
the RCC Constitution and were
duly elected by a show of hands.

New President Noel St John-
Wood made a brief address and
concluded the business of the day
presenting a token of appreciation
to the outgoing Officers – Ken
McGregor, Will Johns and
Tonny Jones.
The meeting closed, members
lingered for conversation and then
the majority settled in for a happy
and sociable lunch.
