Picnic at WAPPA DAM 17 October 2021
Perfect weather was the order of the day for a relaxed picnic and bbq at Wappa Dam. After spending time at ‘Eumundi on a Sunday,’ everyone was happy to sit back and have a good chat with old and new friends.
The only exercise we had was the occasional moving of chairs to chase the shade, and the raising of arms to eat or drink.
Wappa Dam is a great venue, and one we love to return to.

DOGS IN PARKS AND NATURE AREAS on CAR RUNS
Some members were disappointed to discover that dogs were not allowed at Wappa Dam Picnic Area and they had to leave.
We would like to make it clear that the organisers are not responsible for checking out if venues are ‘dog friendly’.
Parks, forests, leisure areas, camp sites and similar destinations are listed on the Queensland Government Website and it is advisable to check these out on line to avoid any future frustration.
