  Sam’s lemonade scones
This is what you do!
Sift 3 cups of self raising flour with a pinch of salt Mix with a cup of fizzy lemonade
and a cup of runny cream or coconut cream
Flour the bench or board as the mix will be sticky Pat it flat to about 3cm – do not roll !
Cut into circles with a cutter or upturned cup Place onto a lightly buttered/oiled baking tray Bake at 180c for approx 20 minutes until golden on top and a skewer or fork comes out cleanly
Makes about 10 scones at 3cm thick
Traditionally, serve with jam and whipped cream...
